Queens College has a vibrant student life on and off campus. With New York as our setting, the opportunities we provide are, like the city itself, challenging, stimulating and seemingly unlimited.
One of the most unique things about Queens College is that it is an urban college with a beautiful 80-acre campus. You may see a camel there, or a juggler, or a deejay, because our central Quad also serves as our town square where almost anything can—and often does—happen.
Our campus, just 30 minutes from Manhattan, is located in Queens, with its dazzling array of shops and dining spots. The county of Queens is also home to the New York Mets, the U.S. Open tennis tournament, and numerous cultural attractions, including QC’s Louis Armstrong House Museum.
You can explore the world without leaving the campus as our students represent over 170 countries and speak more than 110 languages. This makes the College an exciting place to be, where a wealth of cultures and perspectives come together in an environment of respect and commitment to learning.
